Abstract: In this paper, the inventory replenishment problem with twisting demand and shortages is examined. We propose an easy to use procedure for computing the replenishment schedule for the system. We show by graphical representation that the inventory total cost function and the quantity for the system is convex. Numerical example is given to illustrate the model.
